EDUCATION

Harborkeeper LOGO (White).png
The Harborkeepers builds coastal community resilience through free and accessible coastal education. We create opportunites for the community to learn about the coastal environment, the changing climate as well as impacts to our urban landscape.

We provide programming and hold events on marine and climate education to youth and adults in East Boston and neighboring communities on a regular basis to assure that the community has the opportunity to learn and engage anytime about waterfront and coastal issues.  We weave environmental education in all of our work as a way to foster environmental stewardship and inspire others to take action. Our approach is always through trust-building, forming partnerships and fostering collaboration with a wide range of groups, organizations and stakeholders.

The Harborkeepers in Community Spaces and Events

Connecting with people of all backgrounds in different spaces allows us to build trust, local capacity, knowledge and social infrastructure, which will in turn help build coastal community resiliency. Check out the list of  events we've attended. If you would like to contact us to participate in your event, please email us
